A roomy day tote worked in premium-brand cord yarn, with deep charcoal ribs broken by broad saffron and pale-gold stripes that wrap the whole body. The stitch is dense and even, so the bag stands upright on its own and keeps its clean rectangular shape whether it is full or nearly empty. Twin braided handles are knotted onto polished silver-tone rings at a comfortable shoulder drop, clearing a coat sleeve without slipping. Inside, a smooth black lining keeps the interior tidy and hides a flat slip pocket for a phone, cards or a small notebook. Deep enough for a laptop sleeve, a folded scarf and a water bottle, it moves easily from office to market to weekend.
